About Ekush Wealth Management

Ekush Wealth Management Limited is an asset management company in Bangladesh that manages open-end mutual funds and separately managed accounts. It was founded by a group of long-time friends who set out to build an asset manager focused on investor interests, transparency and professional integrity.

The company was incorporated and licensed by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) in 2019. It launched its first fund, Ekush First Unit Fund, in 2021 and now manages three mutual funds, with assets under management reaching BDT 1 billion in November 2025.

Investment philosophy

Ekush Wealth Management follows active investment management across equity and fixed income. Bangladesh’s equity and money markets are volatile and closely linked, so it adjusts portfolios as conditions change instead of holding a fixed mix.

  1. 01

    Tactical asset allocation

In Ekush First Unit Fund and Ekush Growth Fund, exposure across sectors, equity and fixed income is adjusted as economic conditions and market sentiment change.

  2. 02

    Quality companies

Equity holdings are mid to large-cap companies with strong fundamentals, solid governance and sustainable earnings.

  3. 03

    High-quality fixed income

Ekush Stable Return Fund invests in government treasury bills and bonds, select corporate bonds and FDRs with AAA-rated banks and NBFIs.

  4. 04

    Active duration management

Portfolio duration is adjusted based on interest rate trends, liquidity and economic indicators.

  5. 05

    Credit risk assessment

Every fixed income investment goes through credit analysis to keep portfolio quality high and default risk low.
