About UCB Asset Management

UCB Asset Management Limited is an asset management company in Bangladesh that manages equity, fixed income and Shariah-compliant mutual funds. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB).

The company received its asset management license from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) in February 2020. It manages BDT 15 billion in assets.

Investment philosophy

UCB Asset Management invests for long-term, risk-adjusted returns based on fundamental research. Before any investment, it asks how much it can afford to lose before asking how much it can make.
