Secure Your Future with Sanchayapatra

Imagine your family is planning for something big like renovating the house, buying new furniture, or even saving for an important future event. Instead of borrowing money from outsiders, the head of the household says, “Why don’t each of you contribute a little from your savings? I’ll use it wisely to make things better for everyone, and I promise to pay you back with a bonus as a thank-you for your trust.”

Now, think of this family as the country. Just like a caring head of the household, the government offers Sanchayapatra, a secure and rewarding way to lend your savings. Your money helps fund national development like building roads, schools, and hospitals while ensuring you earn guaranteed returns. This helps the government bridge the national budget deficit. It’s a partnership where both you and the nation grow stronger together.

Currently, the government’s Directorate of National Savings offers 11 different savings schemes. Among them, there are four types of Sanchayapatra:

  1. 5-Year Bangladesh Sanchayapatra

  2. 3 Monthly Profit Bearing Sanchayapatra

  3. Poribar Sanchayapatra

  4. Pensioner Sanchayapatra

Here’s who can invest in those -

Institutions can only invest in the 5-Year Bangladesh Sanchayapatra.

How much can you invest in Sanchayapatra?

The minimum and maximum investment amounts for Sanchayapatra depend on the type:

  1. 5 Year Bangladesh Sanchayapatra

    1. Minimum: 10 Lac Taka

    2. Maximum: 30 Lac Taka

  2. Poribar Sanchayapatra

    1. Minimum: 10 Lac Taka

    2. Maximum: 45 Lac Taka

  3. Pensioner Sanchayapatra

    1. Minimum: 50,000 Taka

    2. Maximum: 50 Lac Taka

  4. 3 Monthly Profit Bearing Sanchayapatra

    1. Minimum: 1 Lac Taka

    2. Maximum: 30 Lac Taka

If you invest in multiple types of Sanchayapatra, the highest limit among them applies. For example, if you buy both 5-Year Bangladesh Sanchayapatra and Poribar Sanchayapatra, your total investment limit is 45 Lac Taka.  The limits are higher if you invest jointly with someone else. However, there are no limits for institutions or provident funds.
